The toy monster is taking over. Chubs' room, our room, the living room, the car, the stroller, other people's houses - everywhere! We're doing a bit of a purge and a clean up at the moment. A beautiful problem to have; too many toys for a special, beautiful girl. What's your way of corraling the toys?
I have a kids box under the bed for when the nieces and nephew are over and a storage container for all Saffy's toys and they're starting to mount up too! I may have a problem in the future :p. My sister-in-law uses a storage system like this, which I like: http://www.google.com.au/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1280&bih=644&tbm=isch&tbnid=F5QU9Z91D9SSwM:&imgrefurl=http://pinterest.com/kimk93/creative-room/&docid=tXsrFITAqFKz_M&imgurl=http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ClSU4iSXUgU/S63_Hc3K5ZI/AAAAAAAAC6w/gP3T_8Y2s4Q/s1600/ToyStorage.jpg&w=1200&h=1600&ei=lGlyT_LKOImfiAfww5zkDw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=702&vpy=163&dur=1747&hovh=259&hovw=194&tx=122&ty=161&sig=113679090683103349322&page=2&tbnh=148&tbnw=116&start=18&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:18
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of cute pictures on each of the storage areas for what goes where, so kids can tidy up.
They multiply when you're not looking, like nanobots. Toys are scary like that.
DeleteOne of the things on my organizing to-do list is to get the toys organized. Only problem is, I haven't figured out how to do that yet! :) I did buy a small laundry basket to keep all the stuffed animals in and that seems to working pretty well so far. I've also started weeding out toys that the boys don't play with and they are going in the yard sale. I wouldn't mind making a little bit of money and getting rid of some clutter at the same time. :)
ReplyDeleteLaundry baskets are working for us at the moment, too.
